It’s back
to school for another term, I can’t believe that we are writing the newsletter
for September where has the time gone? We hope that our boys and girls
have all had an amazing holidays and are ready and prepared for the next
academic year. September means back to school for many young people in Uganda.
Children in Uganda will be returning to school for their third term in
September and we are looking forward to seeing them thrive in the next academic
year. We will have a chance to meet them all on Saturday 8th this month to
share ideas and encourage them to read hard so as to pass exams well for those
writing their primary seven, senior four and senior six.
Holiday has
been good for them, they have participated in number of activities including
the basketball training, library and computer with the help from the older
youth.
Can you support our Education Project?
Despite our hard work some children still cannot afford to pay school requirements and they always come back to community center for support. So we will need to raise funds to support them with school materials for those who have very little it makes a huge difference to their education.
We are very
happy to tell you that we are okay at the
community center and everything
is going well and we want to thank you very much for
supporting us and making everything
possible. We believe that education is a basic human right and it is
essential to breaking the cycle of poverty, and that all children deserve the
chance to learn and have a bright future. Going to school can be taken for
granted but many children in Uganda do not have the opportunity to go to school
due to poverty.
